You had me right up until the picture of the headstock loaded. I mean, an aluminum plated toilet seat with tuners?
:)
{ Hey, Al (iffen you're reading this), got any Breadweiner's in stock? I'm suffering from GAS (again), think I can avoid SONAR (as long as I agree to go back to MN, land of 10k rehab centers next month), but it all dependsl...knowing you're a price sensitive mauve shirt guy and all....PM me! }
OK, back to your regularly scheduled thread... |

I have a bit of a soft spot for Pacman. :) I'll bet doing a refret on an aluninum neck would be a bitch, though.

Don't you play a few Travis Bean's? Other than the light weight and truer neck, what's the draw? Is there a big tonal difference? Playability? Cold neck?
I haven't played one, but I have always been curious. |

Location: NJ | I have a travis bean. It was my main guitar from about 84-98 when I got turned on to hamers.
It is made of koa and heavy as lead, it would let me know I used it for that 4th set LOL.
I never had a problem with the feel of the neck. I loved them and I really loved the pickups they are HOT. |
