Just wondering if anyone has any info. or opinions on the Ovation 1139? There is one on ebay which I am thinking about.
Thanks

Location: Denton, Texas | Unless you are restricted to the price range this guitar is going for, I would seriously suggest watching eBay or any of the guitar resources available and get an Acoustic/Electric Ovation. Even if you do not have an amp at this time, because believe me you will want to get one eventually to experience the great big "O" sound thru a speaker/amp whatever. Plus an American made Ovation is preferable in my opinion. |

For $350 I would watch for something a little more "special".
Patience Paduan.

Location: Carle Place, NY | $325 is way high for this guitar. I just saw a Custom Balladeer 1612 sell on eBay for $275. I agree that an acoustic/electric is the way to go. Look for the following models all of which are superior to an 1139: 1611 (Balladeer), 1711 (Balladeer), 1612 (Custom Balladeer), 1712 (Custom Balladeer), 1717 (Legend). However if you really only need an acoustic, look for a 1117 (Legend & my top choice for a reasonably priced acoustic Ovation), 1111 (Balladeer) or 1112 (Custom Balladeer). Just be patient. All of these models pop up on eBay on a regular basis. |

Location: Carbonear, NL | Thanks for all the input. I have a Legend, 1117, with an aftermarket pickup which I rarely use plugged in. An acoustic would be fine for my needs. I'll probably keep looking.
Thanks again

If you already have a 1117 Legend, why would you even consider any Celebrity model? Your next step up is either an Elite (1537, 1718) or Custom Legend (1119, 1619, 1719). |

An Elite is definitely on my wish list but unfortunately not in the budget right now. I am looking for another guitar and want to stick with a US made Ovation.
Thanks
