Mr. Green shot a par.
Mr. Jones shot a bogey,
He's down drinkin at the clubhouse bar
Watch out for that sand trap,
Wear your golfin shoes,
Watch out for that frog pond,
Watch out for them golfin blues. |

Video killed the radio star That's one of those songs that gets stuck in your head and the more you hate it, the more you can't stop singing it. I wonder if anyone has ever committed suicide to get a song out of their head? |

Location: florida | most meaningful line..hmm..... hard to say isnt it.
i got to say neil young's verse off of comes a time album of the title tracks song "comes a time"
You and I we were captured
We took our souls
and we flew away
We were right
we were giving
That's how we kept
what we gave away.
and also a snippet from his song "dont let it bring you down" the first half of the second verse always gives me goosebumps
Blind man running through the light of the night
With an answer in his hand,
Come on down to the river of sight
And you can really understand,....
neil, bob, and townes van zandt are true inspirations so it is really hard to pinpoint just one lyric that means the most to me...but those verses have always been with me. |

Location: florida | pesonally, as a songwriter, the line i have written that means the most to me is probalythe song Neon Ghosts. my favorites are the 2nd 3rd and 5th lines. its about the selling out of small towns to "wall street" type big wigs who have no interests in the actual town itself and probaly have never even been there. there only interests lie in the god almighty dollar.personally i have seen the damage and recoil of corporations coming into my small town and risking the standard of living and way of life, economically, ecologically, and spiritually speaking.
here it goes
neon ghosts (2nd 3rd and 5th verse)
men wearing neon suits brought the strip to life
killing the stars at night
our eyes have adjusted to the years of abuse from the artificial light
men on the screen throw faces on the wall
telling us to fight
theyre ghosts in the shadows of the room
hungering for sight
the pale moon falls under the sunken hills
let the morning shine
the lonely call of the morning birds
when the widow starts to cry
later i will post the lyrics of a song i wrote about my girlfriends alcoholic father, i am not quite done with it but so far is is coming along good and means a whole lot to me. |

Location: florida | white shadows are in our forests
taking all our men
i wonder where theyre going
or if theyll ever come back again
given to a greedy sleeve from a hindered hand
labeled as savages and indian.
