 | This guy said to me: 'I'm going to attack you with the neck of a guitar.'
I said: 'Is that a fret?'

 | Hello, Everyone, In my last vinyl recording session, produced here in Ottawa, way back in the mid 80's, I worked with a fellow musician who had a 1983 Ovation Collector's Series guitar. It never stayed in tune in the recording studio, because at the time, he had somehow, inadvertantly, put the wrong gauge (i.e. Mediums, not Lights) of the newest Adamas Strings on it!?, and thus drove both the records' producer, and/or engineers nuts. The group's name/title track was....wait for it...,"DON'T FRET." (Where's the Emoji for, "Insert Rim Shot and Cymbal Crash Here", when you need it?) You can't make this stuff up. Ironic, or what, eh?

 | Sometime back there was a bad guitar joke in music news headlines-- "Fender Buys Ovation!"

 | Hey, Dan, Thanks for the, "monkey business", as Chuck Berry so aptly put it. The eyeroll just broke me up!

 | That drummer reminds me of someone who is exhausted, with 16 dates still left to play, fed up with his band mates, can't face another meet-and-greet, tired of eating catered turkey sandwiches back stage, can't take another practical joke on the bus, misses sleeping his own bed, and just wants the tour to be over. |

 | This young man attacked a guy with his instruments and was arrested. He came before the judge who asked, "first offender?" To which the young man said, "no your Honor. First a Gibson, then a fender". They strung him up |
