| Ok Ok........ I was checking the new listings on eBay
and saw a nice Ovation Celebrity CC44S-AB £320 buy it now.
Looked at the pictures and thought Hmmmm that's no celebrity and took a punt!
(don't feel to bad for the seller it was a Cash Generator store
and its nice that they get a taste of they're own medicine every now and then!
somebody at that shop needs to learn to research properly)
Here's the listing: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161132516890?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_tr...

Location: Boise, Idaho | Nice grab, Joe. Rather than have someone else do your research, you will probably want to do your own. Most can be done on this site. That's what it's here for. Go back to the Forums and look at the Reference and FAQ section. There will be a serial number list, including the numbers for an Adamas. Yours will be on there from the mid 90s. Then when you have a rainy weekend, do some searches for Adamas or your model, or the preamp in the archives. There will be a ton of posts on all those topics. It might make you want to buy more Ovations, so watch out. Unlike many of us who started at the bottom of the Ovation line and took years to work up, however, you pretty much started at the top. |
