Joined: December 2008 Posts: 2 Location: Perth Western Australia | I have a Balladeer 1111, it has a a sticker inside which has the printing OVATION over the number 309041. Now I recall some years ago going to the Ovation site and there was a time line that I could establish the year of manufacture using the 309041 in combination with Balladeer and 1111. I have searched the Ovation site and can't find this time line. I know I didn't imagine this and my recollection it was about 10 to 12 years ago. Can someone help me out, is this info available anywhere? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I had in the back of my mind that the Time Line on the original OVATION site said it was 1977. This year stuck in my mind because I also have a vintage Martin D28 that is a 1977 build and I always thought it was such a coincidence, BUT I have been wrong a couple of times in my life :-)

Yours is newer than you thought. All you Aussies on this board have really made into a 24 hour board. You and guys like Damon that stay up all night.
