Has anyone seen or played one of these? LX, Mid depth, cutaway, slim slothead, wide neck, OP-Pro, ... seems to have all the right ingredients. Only wish it was 12-fret instead of 14. Same inlaid tortoise shell rosette and binding as the FD14. I bet this is a great instrument. Dave

I guess they finally ran out of indian blankets. Anyone notice how quiet it is with Cliff away?

About the 6774 (non-LX) - this one never thrilled me. I do like it's sister the 6773 Country Artist. But the Folklore never quite captured the same magic that it had when it used to be a 12-fretter. I'm hoping that the new neck and attachment brings some of that back. Plus the looks are much improved. I'm all for killing tortoises. Dave

In about a year, I'm going to see if Ovation can build me a Folklore LX, but with a 12 fret neck and a contoured bowl. Now that, ought to be a great guitar.

Dave,
I own the 6774. After a few months with it, I hate to admit it, but I agree with you (not about killing tortoises). Plugged in it sounds wonderful. Unplugged, which I do 97% percent of the time, it just doesn't do it for me, especially when the 1537 is sitting next to it.
