Location: Louisville, OH 44641 | I play my Adamas 12 string in my church each Sunday. But we just plug into a soundboard so I think it starts to sound a little bland after a couple songs. Does it ever make sense to add effects to a 12 string...like a Chorus Pedal perhaps...or something else? Suggestions appreciated.

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | A JangleBox compressor/sustainer, and maybe a little reverb, but not too much. The resulting harmonics can get muddy in a hurry. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | I just played mine yesterday through the house sound system using my Zoom A2.1u multi-effects pedal. Before you go out and buy a reverb pedal, give the following YouTube video a look-see. I have had mine for a LONG time and it opens up a whole number of possibilities for your acoustic playing. It's built like a tank and is very flexible on the many effects possibilities. Others on the OFC will attest to it. ...

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | ...I like to slip the Phaser and reverb effect in once in a while, so I don't get lost in the other 2-3 guitar player's actions. Lots of options in this and each preset is fully editable, allowing you to even store your own custom settings to assignable channels.

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Say Vince, which setting do you use on the Zoom? All my settings are now custom presets and I haven't played around much with a 12 string because it requires so little. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | The setting I use depends on what instrument I'm playing and what other instruments are in the mix. I don't want to feel like I'm just duplicating another acoustic guitar, so I change up accordingly. With the 12-string I pretty much use A0, A1, C1 or 2 (I can't remember), D4... I really just experiment, because from one week to the next, the mix of instrumentalists and singers changes. Sometimes we are more acoustic, and sometimes we are more hard-driving, depending on what the topic is that day. |

I highy recommend getting the AC-33 roland. Altough expensive, it´s small, battery powered, has a very natural acoustic sound and the *amazing ambience effect* It´s like reverb on steroides. |
