I bought this for my wife to learn on, but she never caught the bug and I prefer to play my deep bowl guitars.  It's a 1968-69 Glen Campbell 1127-4 SN F-157.  In 2008 the guitar was sent to the MS for restoration.  The neck was replaced to the tune of $650.00 (invoice will be inlcluded with the guitar).  Anyone who has seen the MS's work knows what this guitar looks like.  These pictures are rotten, but it's cloudy outside.  If the sun comes out I'll try to get some better pictures.  The bowl is handlaid glass and is in excellent plus condition, the neck is new, and the top is a beautiful honey colored, is flat, and has no cracks.  There are a few pinhead size dents in the top and a finish check about 2" long near the bottom waist that I can't get a picture of.  I didn't notice it until I'd had the guitar for about a year and when I did, I searched these pages and found out it's been there a long time, which tells me it's stable.  The only way you can spot it is to glance across the top at an angle.  The case is in excellent condition, albiet a little dusty.  I've kept the guitar humdified the entire time I've had it.  You can't tell it from the pictures, but it's a stunning guitar that's easy to play and sounds great (keep in mind it's not a deep bowl).  I'll take $580.00 plus shipping and I accept PayPal with no fees.  If you pay by money order or bank check, I'll cover the shipping and insurance to the CONUS.  I'll ship to anywhere in the Solar System, but you'll need to pick up the extra shipping outside on the CONUS.  Here's a chance to own a beautiful guitar and a piece of Ovation history.  I'll offer a 72 hour expection period, but you would be responsible for all shipping and other fees.  I'd be happy to give you an in-hand description if you want to call me and I PROMISE I won't blow smoke up your a$$.  PM me for my phone number.

Well, this one is on the way to me. Hope it will show up soon and in the same fantastic condition as Nick has packed her.
I can't resist her, I love the GC's, it was the first Ovation I had in hands and played for a short while and since these days I was dreaming of an old GC in great condition.....
Thanks Nick! It was wonderful to do business again with you.

These are wonderful guitars. I stumbled onto an excellent condition GCA F-962 for $450 last September. It's so light and comfortable but still resonates a big, warm tone. Good luck with your purchase.

I'm relieved to hear that the guitar arrived in good shape and I'm glad she went to a good home.
