This is a pretty guitar at what seems to be a good price (although bidding is over now). In response to my inquiry for the usual missing information, the fellow wrote back:
"The guitar is a deep bowl, comes with a case and the model is "Custom Elite". It was made specially for Sam Ash a few years back. No serial just a tag from the custom shop." |

It has one-piece epaulets, pretty wood.
It is Connecticut-made.
Being as no-one bid on it, you coulda got it for $699.
But I'm not sure about the lack of serial number.
Maybe they don't know where to look. |

Location: SoCal | We talked about this guitar when it was originally up on ebay. The auction listings back then said the serial# was 445604. The auction text is different this time around... maybe there is a different person doing their ebay auctions.
I think it is a handsome guitar. The black works well on it. The figuring of the bearclaw top creates a nice pattern. |

Location: CT | Maybe I'm alone here, but I like the traditional logo. I like the multi-wood epaulet. And I like a nice tight-grained wood top - without the bearclaw marks in it. |

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | Its kind of cool, but I agree, the Elite as per Ovation, is hard to beat visually or sonically! And my Black 97C is TDF!v (personal preference added) |
