Location: SoCal | I know, would have gone higher. He stopped auction 2 days early. He's legit, good studio and tour work. This was on Elton John tour. Not sure if Ovation "supplies" some of these at no cost. Heck, the great Elite has minimum bid of $650 - $750. And, deluxe case. Just wish Ovation still had the carved walnut bridge as on my older custom legends. |

You just bought my first choice for a BEAUTIFUL 12 string, if it plays half as good as it looks we should see you on TV shortly as Tony and his great guitar.
Congratulations!

Location: Yerington,NV | Tony, I would think that a big name artist like Elton John's Band could get almost any major guitar makers endorsment. So it's probably true, that guitar was one on the tour.Thank god they have enough sense to use ovation's! Congrats again

The seller was Ken Stacey [ebay - KenStacey]
This was his first activity on eBay. Don't know if he will sell in future but if he does, atta boy!
Excellent description, correspondence, and service. |

Location: Lake Hiawatha, New Jersey | I can't believe you got this guitar for this price, in such great condition! It's killing me. I'm really happy for you and sorry for me! Everyday I do a search on ebay for "Ovation Custom Legend" and "Ovation 12", but the way this auction was listed, it never would have come up under those searches.
Really, I wish you many years of enjoyment with it.
All the best!

Location: SoCal | And, for some reason unknown - he closed the auction two days early. Made me curious and cautious but everything checked out and he performed as we would hope sellers would. Makes me wonder if I might sell my Takamine mahogany 12 in the near future. |
