Hi All -

I'm casting about for some 1867s and 1869s for some overseas friends who have finite connectivity and resources. A few questions for the OFC:

1) Is there a preferred/trusted set of used dealers?

2) I'm finding only limited information to verify models and years - even the Ovation Archive info doesn't jive with some actual guitars I've held in my hands. Recommended resources?

3) Today's Question: This is a pretty vague post for an 1867 on ebay. I've never seen a blue finish on an 1867, only natural, cherry, and black. Does that smell funny to you? It actually looks like a Pinnacle finish to me.

Glad to be in touch with the OFC and looking forward to more conversations - thx - joe
