Location: Veedersburg, Indiana | Heard on the news Friday that Mike Smith (the voice of the DC5) died. Mike had been paralyzed since a fall about 5 years ago and had just recently been allowed to finally leave the hospital and go home. As most probably know, the DC5 are being inducted into the Hall of Fame this month and Mike (along with DC himself) were scheduled to be there. Lots of the great artist from the 60's/70's are starting to leave us. Boy does it make me feel old. Mike was only 64. |
