I am in process of selling a 1982 Custom Legend, which is a sweet guitar, but its got a little mystery behind it. I am hoping someone here may have some information on this instrument. I spoke with Kim at the Factory and he suggested posting here.

As I said, I have a 1619 series for sale, however this one is unusual as it is a 1619-S. The factory rep had no clue as to what this might be. The serial number is 270379, making it a 1982. But the Dash S is puzzling. It also has some rather odd electronics. It has the Stereo and Mono jack..but only one knob, which is Volume. There is no Tone knob. This instrument is in near mint condition and has a sweet mellow tone. It has a Sunburst finish, and the Factory rep suggested that the dash S on the end of the model number might be the sunburst finish, but he had never heard of it.

Any information anyone might have about this would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks....
