 Ebay Up for grabs is a really lovely Adamas 1597 in gorgeous ruby graphite finish. Adamas guitars are the top of the Ovation range and are turely wonderous instruments. It's in great condition, the only issue is a missing bit of the headstock. This is purely cosmetic and does not affect the sound or playability in anyway. It adds character and makes it unique! The Adamas guitars have a carbon fibre top which makes it loud and extremely well voiced, crisp highs and solid lows. It's been professionaly setup, the action is very low, better than most electrics I've played! It's unbelievably easy to play and you'll never get hand cramps even playing chords high up the neck. Tone to die for and then you plug it in. Holy Moly, instant beautiful tone! The ruby graphite top changes colour depending on the light shined on it, sometimes is a really dark brooding red yet other times it flashes it's deep firey reds back at you. Hard to capture using a camera. The back of the neck is unfinished (i.e. not horrid gloss) which gives you a really intimate feel with neck. Comes with original Ovation hard case. It's been well loved and in great condition despite it's age (there is slight wear to the treble epaulet but again it's just a minor cosmetic issue and nothing to worry about). This guitar will only improve with age like a fine wine. There was some minor pick haze but I've polished most of it out, more could be removed if you really were concerned about it but it is very minor. This guitar is VERY easy to play and has BRILLIANT tone and projection without even needing to amplify. Only reason for selling is upgrading to a Adamas II!
