Location: SoCal | The Ovation website, under US built Ovations, now lists the 2006 Collectors along with the commemoratives being built for this year.
One of them is the 1627, Glen Campbell Artist. It's an interestig hodge podge of a guitar. It's got the original fiberglass bowl of the 1970's and the A bracing of the 1980's. Actually should be a damned nice guitar to own (sure is beautiful to look at). I played one in CT last June and was impressed.
Still think they missed the boat by not doing the GC Deluxe Balladeer shiny bowl. Oh well. Hope they sell a ton of these GC reissues.... |
