Location: Phoenix AZ | Here's the story on the autographed Al Dimeola guitars. The flyer is attached. Quote from the flyer:
"Al Dimeola has teamed up with Sam Ash and Ovation to benefit the American Tinnitus Association by personally signng 50 of his 1769AD model acoustic/electric guitars... On April 16th, 2006 Al Dimeola appeared at the Sam Ash store in Margate Florida for a clinic sponsored by Ovation Guitars. He played masterfully adn the standing room only crowd went wild. He signed his guitar and 49 others that night."
The guitars are selling for $2129 and $200 of it is a donation to the Tinnitus Association. They are standard 1719AD guitars with inlayed signature on the peghead, and then Al has signed them in BIG gold sharpie right across the lower bout. They come with a nice certificate.
I'm surprised that this info isn't on the Ovation website. Well, maybe not.
