Hi -- I'm looking to buy an Ovation 1613, of which I understand there are two versions: an earlier mono version and a later stereo version. My question is to those who have played/owned both versions is this: besides the mono/stereo difference, is there any difference in the tone of the amplified sound?

As a big Ovation nylon guitars fan, I can contribute to this thread with my experience. I own both and to me there is no noticeable tone difference when the stereo 1613 is plugged-in in mono version.
