My parents have told me when I was little (probably 3 or 4) I would run to my room and grab my cheesy little guitar then run back out to the TV to play along with "Blen Sambo". Great stories guys. Thanks for sharing.

I introduced the show and my wife and i went back and met and talked to Glen During Intermission. we had aphoto done but it turned out blurry. still good enough for us to have. GC was very Kind and very gracious and your right, his road/stage manager was also very kind and arranged the meeting, Gc signed an Oldies 96.6 T-shirt for me, i plan on getting it framed with aphoto of glenn at some point.

I just visited his website and on the first gallery page there he is playing, of all things, an ukulele! Not a quality one though... http://www.noelpaulstookey.com/

I love his solo work. I use to have a live Lp of his that got left at one of my Radio jobs. I wonder if it ever made it to cd? I'm going to check out his site.

It just so happened that this was also the very day he took delivery of his first Breadwinner (a white one). He used it in the show that night (his T-head was there on stage, but he never touched it the entire show). When I got the the call to go backstage during intermission, he had an 8x10 photo already signed (personally inscribed) and waiting for me. I was only 12 at the time, and when he first saw me he kinda stroked my hair and smiled because it was obvious to him that I was attempting to style my hair just like his. But anyway, the reason I'm sharing this story is because of what he said regarding his first impressions of his newly-acquired Breadwinner. I told him that was an interesting looking guitar and that I'd never seen him play one like that before (that's when he told me he'd just gotten it that morning). I said I thought it sounded great, and he said, "Yeah, I've been fooling around on it all day today; it's really cool." Then he added with a laugh, "It's the best sounding battle axe I've ever heard."
