| Hi
I have scored an Ovation 1613 in great shape, I've always wanted this guitar and I am ready to pull the trigger. However the seller just told me that the volume knob has been replaced by a wooden knob made by his tech.
I know I could live with this, but before making any decision I'd like to know if a decent replacement closer to the original is available somewhere.
Thanks!

| Hi, thanks for chiming in.
It is a single knob, placed close to the neck. I don't know if it is vol & tone or just volume, all I know is that the guitar is from 1981. Here's a pic (you can see it is a double jack model). Hope this helps.
Thanks.

| I have been able to find out what knob was originally on the guitar. It is the one composed of two parts: a lower (tone) and upper (vol) knob, I think they call it stacked. Hope you can help me with this, Al.
Thanks anyway! |
