Hello, everybody. My name is Schusti, I am a bassist living in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The only language I can speak perfectly is German. So forgive me linguistic inaccuracies in English.

Among other basses I own an Ovation Viper Bass. At this bass the bridge is broken. I have no idea how it happened, but broken is broken (kaputt!). A friend of mine who lived in St. Louis at the time was able to get me a spare part. I decided to give the bass to my dealer and let him fix it.

Apparently, this new bridge doesn't work right. While the E-string and the A-string can be heard well over the amplifier, the other two strings are muted. Fine, I can play on two strings as well, but actually I would like to have a working bass.

My dealer in Frankfurt is not able to get me a bridge for the Viper Bass. Does anyone have an idea who owns and sells such a bridge? The old bridge has a number on the back: 5195 MEXICO 705000-A.

Gruß,
Schusti
