Location: Vega Baja, Puerto Rico | One of my Ovation guitars is this 2008 Ovation Ultra 2178. The thing is that, apparently, this was the only year this particular model was made and it has to be true because 1) my Blue Book says so 2) the features are quite different from what I've found about the Ultra models from the past. First, the nutwidth is quite narrow, at 1 5/8 in. Second, it has a AA-Grade solid sitka spruce top and deep contoured bowl. Third. it has the OP-Pro preamp and the high-output piezo (which sounds amazing) and fourth, it has the Elite multi soundholes and inlaid epaulets. Many have even said it sound better than my Ovation Legend.
Anyone can add to this thread? |
