good point
I have not seen arthur posting lately

No Lyrachord, no interest.

If I am gonna buy a woodbox, I could get a REAL woodbox... Like a Martin.
(BTW-- I own Seagulls and an a Taylor)

What if we cover the back and sides with textured Bowl Paint?

Even if it's a really cool Larrivee/Ovation? Why would that not be a "real" woodbox?

Hard to question my Ovation creds after 47 years. But I also have several non O's as well, and have considered this very option (O neck and top on a box) numerous times through the years. I may very well be a player for one of the 25. Got to have an O neck profile, though. We'll see....

And... by the way, good to see you're still kicking, OMA. This place wouldn't be the same without you.

@alpep - >>>I am rather certain these are NOT built in the DW facility. they build ehhhhhh........DRUMS there...<<<

If they haven't hollowed out space in one of their existing enclosures, that's why I was thinking ""or locally-logistic-savvy resemblance thereof"". Someplace where ownership/management can easily access and actually stand in front of the process instead of thousands of miles away. Again, just speculation. And like TAFKAR said, " I, for one, and curious about where all the specialist equipment went." Me, too. Does anyone know if/when they cleared the last production out-building on the original Mothership campus, and what direction the trucks went?
It looks like OFC members are racking quite a curious laundry list of questions to be asked at NAMM, both for these roll-out 25 as well as any possible future production of the same strain of the breed. You should be getting press reporter's pay for this one, Al!

OMA right on as always. No roundback not interested. And Miles is right on too. Lots of great used Ovations out there. That is the good news!!
