Waskel, Misleading towards the extent of what's Made In The USA. The majority of Ovations are currently made overseas, yet the only place of manufacture that is mentioned (and glamorized) is the red brick factory in CT. That excerpt does describe every Ovation that I've been lucky enough to have, play and care for.

"Main ingredient being 1st on the list", has become a standard for consumers. Maybe it is unintentional, but I think the sole glamorization of, made in an historic red brick factory in CT (and the absence of any other countries), drives home Made In The USA. Which is true, but only for a small subset at this time. That place is not where most Ovation guitars are currently being made, so I have to ask, why is CT the only place the website and literature presents? I inferred no lack of quality. A quality-product depends on materials and how it's made, not where it's made.

And people buying General Motors cars think they are helping to save Detroit.

So... If North Korea and South Korea go to war, what happens to Ovation manufacturing over there?

Anyone know where in South Korea Ovation are made?
There carrier task force headed there.
If there any real disruption there may want reconsider a very complete move there.
It would a shift to China or back to USA.
