Good morning everyone. This is an unusual post for this forum but may well apply to someone out there. The last several days I have received emails with a .zip attachment from someone I do not know. Don't worry, I know better than to open it. I did research the return address; suprise, suprise it's based out of Malaysia.

So why bring it up here?

They were sent to the email I use almost exclusively for the OFC Calendar. This means that, if I want to play the odds, there is a decent chance that someone here may have an infected machine. So just in case, you may want to thoroughly scan your computer to be certain it's not transmitting your email address book, or any other info, to a variety of digital low-lifes around the planet. It's true of course that the calendar address could have been compromised through about a bajillion other means, but I thought you would all want to know.

In the meantime, it bears repeating what all of us know by now: DO NOT OPEN ATTACHMENTS if you are not postive they are safe.

Oh yeah....Don't be surprised if I use a new, albeit similar, email address if I do another calendar next year.

They could also have gotten that email address from this website and spoofed it back to you.

That's certainly possible Jimmer. I'm not complaining since I can delete the account and replace it very simply. I just wanted to let folks know just in case.
