in case you wondered what one of these sound like. Probably should have put new strings on first, but oh well.

No effects, just opened up the camera on the ipad and hit record.

That was really good.
The guitar, being a little closer than you singing, is a bit too dominate. I just got the new iPad so it's good to know this comes out so good. I wonder how it will compare to the Zoom Q3 I always use for my Youtubers.....?

I used the non-hd camera side. I don't know how the sound would change if I turned it around to the HD side. I'll try another soon... and with newer strings

Damon,

That was great! It's always a pleasure to watch and hear you play ... Seriously! Well done! I LOVE that 1581, too. Thanks for this post.

Nice work, Damon. I like that the guitar was front and center. The Adamas guitars are in a league of their own.

(I did something similar.... Zoom H4 in the kitchen, no effects > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Z480TkNSkw&feature=plcp )

In fact, not long after, our whole CD was done on the 1581!

If it suffers a bit in quality, it makes up in ease. Literally after you hit stop, you can tap a button and send it off to about half dozen places on the web.

What I need to do now is invest in a few different types of stands and holders for it.

And thanks for the kind words folks. That one is indeed my favorite guitar to play unplugged. I just changed the strings and it's night and day... shoulda waited and done the vid after.

I'm sure it will sound better in HD...
