| I saw this youtube video with Campbell, Jerry Reed and Carl Jackson, playing 'A Thing Called Love'. Campbell is playing a 1537 but Jackson is playing an Elite-style slothead. Never saw one of those before. Looked kinda like a multi-soundhole Folklore...

| Probably so, it's hard to get a good look at the top to see if it's wood or CF. But still, the idea is of wide-neck slothead 1537 is kewl (for me, anyway). |

Location: SoCal | It's slothead #27. It belongs to Glen Campbell. Jackson played it long after Campbell went back to wood top O's. Jackson was a member of Campbell's band from about '73-'87.
When he got it #27 in '76, Campbell played it for about a year, then went to a standard Adamas. He played those until '81 when Ovation built 2 super shallow bowl Adamii, a steel string and a Country Artist Adamas. In '82 he got one of the first two Elites (Beal has the other) and never went back to Adamii.
I always thought it was odd that the guy who pushed Ovation to build acoustic electrics, kind of walked away from them for about 3-4 years, first with an acoustic only A braced Legend, then with the #27 slothead. Also interesting that the slothead was a wide neck. He's almost always played the speed necks...... |

| Every time I think I've seen them all, one pops up and I do a double-take. Like the other day someone posted a the pic of an Elite-style parlour guitar. Never knew they existed... |
