The particular booklet for this guitar's VIP-5 preamp, and mic-image listing, didn't come with the guitar. Thus, does anyone have the information I seek? Thanks! Regards, SpruceTop P.S. I tried posting this in the "General" topic discussion board, but even though I've been a member of the board for a couple of months, I'm not allowed to post there. Is there a reason for my lack of access to other Ovation FanClub discussions? Thanks.

The preamps both had little stickers on them, and a matching sticker on the can in the guitar. The 2080 says "SET 4". The 2007BCS has moved on to another owner and I do not recall what it said, just that it was another number other than 4.

What I'm actually looking for are the brand and model of mics used to generate the Adamas 2080 VIP-5 Images. For example, Martin's website lists the following mics used to generate the Aura Images for my Martin DCPA1 Performing Artist Series Dreadnought's onboard F1 Aura preamp: From the VIP-5 preamp's characteristics, it sounds like this preamp is using Adamas 2080 Aura Images generated by Fishman. It would be nice to know what actual brand and model mics were used for the Adamas 2080. Maybe this information is out there somewhere but, regardless, the good part is that my Adamas 2080 sounds wonderful through my Bose L1 Model II with ToneMatch! If anyone comes across the actual mic and model listing for the Adamas 2080 VIP-5, please post. Thanks! Regards, SpruceTop
