It was made for the export only market and is an Adamas one with the traditional carved headstock and bridge, a non cutaway in the traditional and oh so desireable blue finish. What is unique is this guitar was made in the past couple of years and has the Opima preamp. So you get all the looks and quality of a vintage adamas with the advantages of modern electronics. This insrument is in mint/umplayed condition. E mail me if you are interested I can send you a picture later.

I've got a '93 blue Adamas 12 that I picked up for cost (about $1700) 6 years ago. I've since seen them for sale on ebay and in guitar stores for anywhere from $1500-$2200. Do these numbers tend to jive with what the rest of you have seen?

I don't think the majority of dealers know the differences between the original & the "2". I saw a 90's blue 2 at a dealer in London a few months ago for £800, I'm still kicking myself for passing. I bought my '78 wide neck Adamas 1 about 6 years ago for £600.
