Location: CT | I assume this would involve labor that would be cost-prohibitive, but how ridiculous would it be to try to put a different bowl on an existing Ovation/ Adamas. In this case, I would want to put a super-shallow bowl on a mid-bowl guitar, so on top of disassembly, re-glueing the guitar, re-applying body binding etc. the neck heel would also have to be shaved.
Am I talking hundreds or thousand(s) of dollars here?
Oh, a reminder for any new members who haven't seen the Sell/Trade back posts: I'm desperately seeking an '88 Collectors Edition. If you see an ad or whatever PLEASE let me know. Thanks!

Location: Atlanta,Ga. | The adamas was never offered in shallow bowl, only the adamas II was offered in shallow ...So, finding an adamas with shallow bowl would also be almost impossible.Unless they made a few custom pieces.... |

Location: SoCal | Your right Sam. So we're back to the answer of get another guitar. Don't mess with such a good guitar. |

Location: CT | Ah, but there's the rub... a) no one seems to want this guitar, and b) I can't find the guitar I would replace it with.
Anyway, I wasn't quite kidding, but I'm not surprised you asked either, if you know what I mean. |

Location: RI. That small State out East | I just had a run in with someone putting a 12 string neck on a a 6 string deep... It looked "OK" But... I (and others) couldn't get it to play 12 strings. Something about spending good money after spending bad money...
