Location: Scotland | Are you referring to the fingerboard? The original Elites had the same Walnut fingerboards as the Adamas. The Walnut was impregnated with a resin to improve it's properties as a fingerboard material. |

Location: San Francisco, CA | The wood top INSIDE. If you open up your Ovation or Adamas, you can see what's inside. Normally, it's just plain, unfinished wood, but it's not in this Elite.
I suspect Ovation did some exeriment on this 1st generation Elite. 1537 sounds & looks (inside & outside) fantastic. |
