Location: Tennessee | Well, I'm not sure I'm an owner until it gets into my hands, but yes, I was able to swing a pretty nice deal on a Viper bass. I should get it within a week or so. I just hope the three notes I know matches the three chords Moody,pi knows so we can jam. |

My Viper got it's stage debut last night, sounded great! Unfortunately we had a small crowd, got one compliment on how nice it looked. Really fun to play.
We switch off on instruments and I had been playing my friend's Ibanez in the band until now. They definatley have thier unique sounds, makes for some variation in the bands sound when I'm playing the bass with the O. I do appreciate that it is so much lighter!!!
Another big difference is the center-of-gravity, I find I can play the Viper in an almost upright position and other times swing it down to punch some notes out with athourity (hopefully it's the right note  )
It's really fun to play!!!! |

| Hi,
im going to agree with Paul, these are wonderful instruments to play, if you have seen my photo album you will see that i have my viper and a Gibson Explorer bass and sometimes i prefer the sound of my Ovation even with "rockier" songs. I think its the best purchase i ever made
