Chances are, if you figure it out, Gordy bought it off Diamond when he made the move to a model with a pickup. Granted, $7,000 is a bit pricey, but Gordy has seen firsthand how crazy some of Diamond's fans actually are. You'll notice the description is more of a sale job on Diamond than the actual guitar. And Diamond's music was great before he made the move to Columbia and became their male Barbra Streisand. Les :) Originally posted by Paul Templeman: Not that I'm cynical at all, but if this a Neil Diamond "concert-used" guitar, how come it's an acoustic-only model http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3367727220&category=29937

If you are interested tune in to QVC and tape the ad and then you can examine his Ovations at you're liesure.
