While others are promoting the "beauty" of cubic-zirchonium, and trying to pass them off as "just as good as".... we can have the pure pleasure of owning genuine diamonds!

My 2001 RW is such a gem.... uh, it IS real isn't it Al?

Al,

Noticed the Indiana "Bowl Back" Shannondale on ebay. However they did not mention Ovation or Adamas in connection with their ad.

Al, there are those who want to look cool and those who want to sound cool. This guitar is for those who don't understand the difference!!!!!

I frequent a shop that sells the Indiana Shannondales....one in a while you actually find one that almost sounds as good as a bad Applause.

I had won an auction that stated "Bigsby like" - eBay pulled the auction due to company's complaint (after I had sent PayPal). Action was b.s., bought it direct from the seller.
Forget what the process is called on eBay but a number of companies are listed and monitor listings. Surprised that Kaman (Ovation/Adamas) doesn't police at least the most blatant.

well Al

I guess a Yugo was a Lamborghini type of car, with it's motor and steering wheel and all that and being european to boot.

That guitar is a dead ringer for the wooden topped Adamas models and a hell of a lot cheaper. I expect it comes with an Ovation type hardshell case made of high quality cardboard. I would have bid if it had been a little cheaper. I LOVED the green finish as it matches the included strings shade of verdigris.

This is called keyword spamming. It is where you put certain words in the title of your ad to attract buyers yet you are selling NOTHING that comes close to the item.

for example you may see an ad that reads: Ovation Adamas not martian , trailer, givsung, flendor, geeld.

this is done so that those that do seaches for certain words will have this auction come up in the search.

If you just used "nikko" you would get a ton of old stereo components from the seventies ok I am wrong I justed seached Nikko and got over 1200 hits.

Anyway, It still makes my blood boil.

Tim check the label and logo you will find Nikko underneath the p touch label I made that said "ovalation" ....sucker

Al,

The label just fell off and there was a "Smiley face" sticking out its tongue :p

I also notice (didn't see it before) that the "model number" has the definite "Woodburning Hobby Set" look and smell to it!

hmmmmmmm.... also noticed what appear to be Spotted OWl Feathers in the Varnish....
