Is there any significant difference between the two, other than a cosmetic repackaging?

Is is possible to retrofit an OP-50 where an OP-30 or 40 is used (I am assuming that an XLR jack needs to be installed for the lo-z connection).

Anyone know how much a replacement OP-50 or Optima costs?

I thought I'd ask about the 2004 OP-Pro, but I better leave well enough alone.....
