MF now has the Adamas Q597 listed at $1799.

I have posted the picture in my gallery.

Is this the "LX" version of the Adamas?

Sure would be nice if they would update their website...

Speaking of updating their website...what are the advantages of the OP Pro over the OP50? The OP Pro does not appear to have a notch filter as the OP 40, OP50 & Optima have.

Not meaning to sound as incompetent as I actually am, but I believe that the advantage of the OP Pro is that it is easy to see on stage and easy to use. Fewer controls and ease of use on a guitar is a major plus to most people. If I want to play with my guitar's sound, I'll use an external box. It's one of the reasons I like my 1537 Elite. Volume and tone control knobs (that also look classy) and that's it. If I'm looking to keep things simple, I go straight into the board, if I'm looking for the best sound, I go thru an eq box.

Invariably, the simple life is the best life.

LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI. Awesome box. You can run a pickup straight into this...no onboard preamp at all if you wish. I had heard a couple of guys play through these and just had to get one.
Not sure if Al carries these or not. Here's were I got mine.

That looks handy for applications where you need to plug it into a board with a lo-Z jacks. Too bad that they don't make a belt-mountable version. That would be sweet. Perfect for my 12-String Alvarez Yairi.

Baggs make a few belt-mountable pre's. They're not as sophisticated as the Para-Acoustic DI, but they'e pretty good.

The Boss AD series are excellent, and the new Fishman Aura pedal is very impressive.
