I just found this site and hope that someone could help me to shed some light on this question. I bought a brand new Ovation Legend 1756 12-string in 1993 from a musicstore that went bankrupt (I payed $500 for it). The guitar was made in 1991 according to the seialnumber (443806). I´ve loved that guitar since the day I bought it and felt that I would like a 6-string as well, a Legend 1767 with cutaway. I spoke to dealer here in Sweden and asked him if I could order one in white pearl (the same colour as my 12-string). He told me that it was impossible since that model wasn´t avilible in pearl white. I told him that I had a 1756 12-string in pearl white and would be more than happy if he could help me to make a custom order.
Then he told me "What!!, That model doesn´t exist in that colour either." Well since I got one it has to exist. My question to all you Ovation lovers, does anybody know if there are more pearl white Legend 1756 12-strings out there.
Best regards
Ove Lundqvist from Sweden
