The arranged accommodations are really nice. Do you think it's cause they're so glad to see us? Or is it more about containment?

The accomodations are the same as last year. They treated us real well, so I made the same arrangements this year. The hotel staff really enjoyed the music in their lobby and it's a nice place to jam. They even helped serve our BYOB and snacks just so they could hang out.

They didn't even mind the Llama

Why, what did the llama ask them to do?

We all have been sworn to secrecy on that issue.
But if you make it to the June get together, Teh hotel staff will probably tell you anyway.

BYOB.

The hotel doesn't have a bar.

Last year I brought a huge Coleman stainless steel cooler for all to use. Will do it again this year. Those that wanted to "partake" kicked in and we did a "Beer(and whatever)Run". It worked out really well. . . .
(And of those that have experience with "hotel bars" can attest, we saved ourselves a SHITload of money).

As Miles said, the hotel staff seemed to enjoy having us there. We were sort of the "In-House Entertainment" . . .

Being that we've moved from March to June, we've got a whole 'nother "dynamic" thrown in . . . . POOL!

Although the search tool is still sick... if you click on the "Bulletin Board" link on the left, then "General Postings" you can just click on pages 36-33 to find several threads about the tour including reviews, assorted tales, and pictures.

It's a fun primer for the new folks, and a nice trip down memory lane for the rest.

Miles:

You forgot the last event of the day:

- Jam and drink in hotel lobby until 3 a.m.

I just made my motel reservation. The desk person seemed very pleased and said everyone there was looking forward to have the OFC back. Sounds like last years group made quite an impression.
There's not a "Keith Moon" type amoung us!

I made my reservations yesterday and got the same feeling! The guy on the phone seemed to be looking forward to it almost as much as I am. Either you guys made a REALLY good impression last year, or not a whole lot goes on at this place. ;)

By the way, why did they ask if I wanted a llama or non-llama room????
