dlee.

I know exactly where you are. Life does get better, though at the time you can never see it. My thoughts are with you, and Lady Schroeder says good luck. Take care of yourself buddy.

Thanks Schroeder

Actually, I am still enjoying life very well. I don't have my wife but we are still friends and we still love each other. I still see the kids almost everyday. I can still afford all the essentials. And I still have my viper.

A guitar'll get ya thru times with no money better than money'll get ya thru times with no guitar.

The guy who said that was a friggin' idiot, but the general principle applies. Keep rockin'.

dlee,

There will always be a Limited hanging in our music room waiting for you.

Right now, what you are going through is overwhelming. Just when you think it can’t get any worse… the definition of worse gets revised.

Lady Noah believes that fate has a funny way of working things out.

As you can see, some of the folks here are willing to watch your back while you get some rest and recoup.
We are just a post, or an email, or a phone call away.

BTW, You have an email from us.

Well I refunded the Frenchman his money. I had problems with selling to him after he asked me to lower my standards and break the law to benefit him. I had already spent some of the money before I received it so I was still going to go through with the deal. However Paypal is no Pal of mine. They want to send me only $500 a month because this is my first transaction. On top of that they marked the transaction as completed when I tried to transfer the funds to my bank account on 2/8/05. Today I still had not received the funds. After a call to payfoe, I found out the truth -- it will be easier to resale the guitar and not deal with payfoe. If anyone is interested the price is $1400 plus shipping.

dlee,

I would not ship anything out of the States unless I had the money in hand either.
You having a new PayPal account complicates matters, but there is always a solution.

Your bidding was driven by an Overseas Buyer and the strength of his currency over our dollar.
Once you got the 1st $500 and/or provided a shipping track#, there would always be the risk of a credit card chargeback.

Our offer was to net you out on the French transaction so you would not have to compromise yourself with the Buyer's requirement to underdeclare the value of the shipment.
Now you put it back up for sale?

We will be back early evening.

dleegblue,
Why would you want to relist on Ebay and have to pay the fees again and deal with buyers who want to use Paypal, when you have an OFC member (noah) who is willing to work things out with you?

Always nice to keep it in the family! :p

Schroeder's play on the old Forester Sisters Song is pretty Good! Assign all lyric rewrites to him from now on.
