I was flipping around the tube last night and caught a very interesting documentary on Elvis and his Love for Gospel. Alot of interviews with Old Gospel qaurtet guys. In a couple of practice clips. Elvis was singing with aquartet and the guitar player was playing an Ovation. Clear shot of headstock and bowl fromnthe back. definately an ovation. Showed him 2 or 3 times.

Hi,

I didn't catch the show but have seen video's of Elvis and his love for gospel music.

Interestingly his only Grammy was for a gospel album. I think he was one of the greatest singers in the past 50 years.

Have a Great Day. :)

He was the one who originally recorded
Mylon Lefevre's Without Him.Must've made Mylon some cash Early on. I think Mylon wrote it when he was a teenager.

He sang on (and MAY have possibly shared composing credit) on George Harrison's "So Sad" on the "Dark Horse" album . . .

You did know that Elvis' mom worked with Glen's mom at the Ovation factory in the late 60's?

Looking at the picture, I thought it was J. Edgar Hoover . . .
