Well, got the 6868 I bought on Ebay, and I'm not sure what to do with it.

First the good: plays great, electronics work well.

The bad?

It's GREEN. I hate green.

It has some cosmetic issues - headstock missing an ear, finish crack, finish rubbed off on front near binding.

I haven't even cleaned it up yet. It's so GREEN.

I can get another 6868 that isn;t perfect either but is sunburst. It's a $100 more than I paid for this one which was less than $300. Should I sell and try to get a color I can live with?

pics are in the gallery under puddnheadwilson

Thought about refinishing it myself...

Option A: Wear Rosy Red Glasses.

Option B: Put it on eBay round about St. Patrick's Day. Though in some Green Beer. someone will buy it.

Actually it's not as bad as I expected. I've definately seen worse. For the price if you like the way it plays keep it and use it as a "beater". Maybe it will fall over and break the other side of the headstock off :)One of my favorite guitars is a really old Jasmine that I picked up for $25. It sounds great with super good action. It ain't much to look at but that's part of it's charm. Kinda like a blind date..."and she has a great personality."
