Location: Springfield Missouri | Hello, I am looking for information on a guitar I
Recently purchased, It’s an Ovation Thunderbolt TB-01.
The small amount of info I have been able to find
tells me
that the finish was only available in three solid
colors.
However the one I have is finished in something like a
blue snake
skin pattern. I was able to find out from
askus@ovationguitars that
The TB-01 was available with some custom finishes
painted by an
artist named O'Connor and that His signature would be
hidden
somewhere on the top. I have found the signature, but
I’m not sure what it says, it's very small, sloppy and
written in the same color blue as the pattern, also
dated "89". Any info you can offer on these custom
finished
thunderbolts... number made...number of different
custom
finishes...artists other than o'connor...how much they
may be worth...etc. would be much appreciated.
Thanks for you time.

These distinct issues have slithered in before! You may even hear from the main instigator, er, inspiration. He probably has a pair of matching boots as well.
