I fiqured P&W (including Acoustic Christian) was really covered by the other genres. I would classify AC as folk. I'm not trying to pigeon hole anything, but if I were to listen to Inspirational Bluegrass, I would classify it as Bluegrass.....my 'other' catagory would be Acoustic Christian.. Steve

I took one of mine to the jam that I visit when I can, and they looked at me like I'm from another planet. When I show up with one of my Martins I'm welcomed like it's old home week. My Ovations hold thier own in most situations. Well maybe not Bluegrass. Tim, I to am a Bluegrass nut. Mostly a folkie but play Bluegrass whenever I can.

The ones that have been there awhile and need new strings. I have played one or two $3,000 to $6,000 Martins that I really didn't like the sound of, and have picked up a $400 Washburn or $500 Ovation Celebrity and thought they sounded as good or better. Beauty is in the eye or ear of the beholder. OK now I'll get off the soap box and let someone else have a turn. Oh by the way I voted Other since I play mostly Gospel music which may have a Country/Folk/Pop/Bluegrass/Soft Rock Style .

He went nuts over the GS, thinks life is unfair since he doesn't have an uncle with O's. Now he wants to come over to play the "plastic" O's. We'll see if he still wants to get a Taylor (Walnut) W10 - doubt if he'd ever be able to afford it.

Hank Snow played a big flat top and so did Mac Wiseman, but Hank Williams and Ernest Tubb snuck in some electrics, then came Merle Haggard and Buck Owens with wide open Teles and folk and bluegrass faded. Why wasn't Cajun included?? I might have voted for that, is "Blue Bayou" cajun?
