In trying to play various artists and songs I find that Neil Diamond songs are fairly easy (most anyway) in terms of guitar and vocals. They really sound great on my CL 1779-USA and Legend 1777-LX plugged or unplugged! Not only am I a fan but I appreciate the simplicity and great sound of these classic rock tunes. I highly recommend you try these even though Neil may not necessarily play an O himself! : ) Play and Rock On!

In the very beginning he played a 185 which I believe was the fore-runner of the Everly Brothers model. So he's come full circle.
Wonder if he's still got his slothead?

The First "Hot August Night" live album is a good
listening tool for learning most of Neil Diamonds
early hits.

Neil Diamond plays an Ovation, in the movie "The Last Waltz" just about everybody played one live on stage then. Also he wrote "I'm a Believer" recorded by the Monkees, a fun song to play and sing.
