Having spent about the last 15 years in the adv biz has taught me that hitting your core demo without a lot of overspill is tought to do but critical at the same time. Personally, I think they could goose up the exposure a little.
And, if they're looking for an agency to accomplish that, I could definitely help out there too...(hint...hint :D ) |

They really should take you up on your offer.
The more they place their ads in fron of a focused audience the better off in along run they'll be.I'm with you all the way. |

I think The biggest problem for Ovation is in the perfection of sound and quality. These guitars are too good to be true. This guitar has always been ahead of it's time. It's a Buckminster Fuller kind of guitar, perfect from the start. |

Location: Cicero, NY | I really don't think there's a respect issue here either. Great guitar - unmatched sound and playability at the price; played by many very well respected players; unique, but not a "specialty" guitar; IMHO, Ovations' brand is well cemented in the public eye. To me, it's much more an exposure issue. We just need a few more people out there saying "I love my O - just try one, man..." when the conversation comes around and the others are saying "Martin, Taylor, Larrivee, yada, yada, yada...".
As always, just one guys opinion... |
