I'm seeing 2 blue ones, but the bass appears to be a flame or quilted maple top. The acoustic looks to be flame maple w/blue burst. :) Everything looks different on the net. I may be completely wrong to. :D

I presume you're talking about the blue Ovation 12-string. That guitar has been discussed here before at some length. I believe we decided that it is a custom Balladeer shallow-bowl 12-string in blue-burst. The color and the bowl depth are what make it custom, there is no shallow-bowl Balladeer 12-string in production.

I also presume that you know that Nancy plays it on the "Live In Seattle" DVD on the song "Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters", if you want to see it a little better......

I'm a big Heart fan, also.....

I've NEVER been to Alaska......Michigan has been more than cold enough for me this year.....

If I was going to travel, I'd go to CA, I see that Heart has a series of concerts there in July, since Nancy is tied up doing a movie score for her hubby until then. I'm hoping that they get to Michigan again this summer.

An additional comment on the blue 12-string....it LOOKS to me like it is a Legend instead of a Balladeer(which would make it a little less custom, color only would be custom), but one of our sharp-eyed members here pointed out some things that established it as a Balladeer....but it escapes me exactly WHAT at the moment. Some searching of the archives might be in order.

What are you talking about!? It's *April* already!

That blueburst 12 is stunning.

If you check the archive, you'll find that Nancy and Ann have been talked about a lot here. Lotta good reading (and some drooling). The Wilson sisters have a lotta fans here. Include me in there. My elite is actually autograghed by them both.
