I was doing my usual friday night web mining and came accross a few articles about Domenic Troiano, that he had passed away this week. I have grown up, listening to some of the his music. just thought I'd pass it on.

I remember him from his James Gang stint replacing Joe Walsh. "Must Be Love" from I believe it was the "Bang" album was one of my favorite songs of the time.

Then I met him around '75 or so when the band I was in at that time was the opening act for the Guess Who when they played the southern states.

Very nice and friendly guy and very talented.
Hadn't thought about those gigs in a long time.

Thanks for the nice reminder down memory lane!

I believe Tommy Bolen ws the guitar player on "Bang". DT was on "Straight Shooter" and "Passin Thru". I don't have "Passin' Thru" but I like both the others. I always liked DT's playing more than Joe Walsh's. Will be missed vey much.

beatlejuice,
You are probably correct. I was going from a memory that sustained damage 30 years ago for the obvious reasons. Sometimes what I remember amazes me but what I forgot is even more amazing!
