I just bought a Cedar GC S 771-C today! I like it. I have been giving myself headaches for months debating on whether to get a new acoustic or not. My cash is so low, but you know that GAS. I traded in a couple electrics that I never ever play to make it affordable.
I was thinking of a Taylor 110 or the Ovation. I got the Ovation because it gave me a little more: I get the cut away, the electronics, and the good playability.

I just plugged the new O into my bullet 15 amp and it sounded fine! I got a little flange/chorus thing going which worked well for the song Julia. It was fun playing with the amp. Anyway I’m happy to own an Ovation. I like it so far, sharp edge and all

You are sitting when you play, aren't you? Stand with a good fitting strap and see what happens.

You will sing better too!

Is that the one where the new guy has several large denomination bills in his hand?

Thanks all! Still enjoying the new guitar. Jasin, yeah, I would love that teardrop burst--very cool. If that guitar was available I would have snagged it up like that. I am a big fan of "burst" finishes. That teardrop burst reminds me of John Lennon's acoustic/electric Gibson, so that makes it extra cool! M Woody, I still sit and play, but this guitar, unlike my other, has a place for a strap so I stand too now. I walk around the yard and play.

I haven't ever seen the tear drop in person, either. But when I get the dough together, I may order one from alpep.

The burst is a spruce top... different animal than the cedar. Welcome.
