Of course, they have to enter the rear of an unmarked truck via the promise of a tailgate party to receive them. As you can imagine, once onboard, the truck doors are quickly shut and the truck pulls away. I can say no more.

According to Rick Hall the layered wood does not add any stability to the neck. They keep as sort of a trademark. I was kinda bummed out. I had thought that the stripe construction had a purpose. I guess it still has a purpose. I think it is the coolest looking neck on the market.

They keep as sort of a trademark." Does this mean that guitars advertised with a 5 piece neck now come with a one pice neck and a decorative stripe? So what's on my BRAND NEW ADVERTISED WITH A 5 PIECE NECK Country Artist? And all guitar making tradition says it does make for a more stable neck. If what he meant was that it isn't any advantage, but they continue to do it for historical/trademark reasons then I'll stop feeling robbed. It would be nice to know what caused their change of opinion - is it that the new neck system is so much more stable than the old design? Did they talk about this?
