| Hi everybody,
I am a newby for this forum and also for Ovation.
I am going to buy my first one and I would appreciate some advices from experts. I am an amateur player, mostly unplugged.
I focused my attention on these three models:
1719-30CM
C779LX
1769ADII
Please give me some inputs to make a reasonable choice.
I would also appreciate if someone could explain me the sound difference between single (legend) and multi holes (elite) Ovations.
Thanks in advance.

Get the 1719-30CM.
The 1769ADII is a winner as well and covers almost all of theupgrade and abalone features!
Welcome and enjoy! |

Location: SoCal | I have (or had) both the 1719-30CM and the 1769 AD II.
Both absolutely great guitars, both essentially Custom Legend deep bowls. One cutaway, one not.
Personally, I like the 1719-30CM but I am partial to the bearclaw, bone nut, non-cutaway.
Both come with the OP-Pro and XLR; Di Meola comes with the "lead boost" but I would never use it.
Again, you would be happy with either. |

It's abso-freaking fantasic.
However....take a look at what models are coming out soon. Then make up your mind if you want to wait or not. This new contour bowl thing is a factor to concider. |

Get that one and then get the contoured C779LX - then you will have two!! |
